AUNTIE'S THOUGHTS

She says what she needs to say

We are told Black Women are "strong" and "unbreakable". We look to them for healing and to solve problems. However, when it something that challenges your way of thinking we are called the Angry Black Woman or divisive. When we cannot be that backbone or strong, then we are not needed. This page is meant to create dialogue for the allowance of vulnerability among Black Women and a platform to share a perspective of a black woman's experience in society.
